With 2FA enabled, you’ll need to confirm your login using a second verification step in addition to your password—typically via a mobile app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
What is Two-Factor Authentication?
Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring two methods to verify your identity:
-
Something you know – your password
-
Something you have – a one-time code generated on your phone
This makes it significantly harder for unauthorized users to access your account.
📱 How to Enable 2FA in the LD Web App
-
Log in to app.legionelladossier.com with your email and password.
-
Click your profile icon or go to the settings menu (top right corner).

A QR code will appear on screen.
-
Open your preferred authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.) and scan the QR code.

The app will generate a 6-digit code.
-
Enter this code into the LegionellaDossier screen and confirm.
2FA is now enabled for your account.
Logging in With 2FA
After enabling 2FA, your login process will include an additional step:
-
Enter your email and password as usual.
-
You will be prompted for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
-
Enter the code to complete the login.
Resetting or Disabling 2FA
-
Lost your device? Contact your administrator or LegionellaDossier support to reset your 2FA settings.
-
You can disable 2FA from the same Security settings page, but we recommend keeping it on for maximum protection.
Tips
-
Back up your recovery codes if provided. Store them somewhere safe.
-
Install your authenticator app on a device you always carry.
-
If you're managing a team, encourage all users to enable 2FA.
