Creating a Vacant Room / Infrequently Used Asset in the LD-Control App

In buildings, certain outlets or rooms may be used infrequently—such as guest rooms, seasonal facilities, or backup spaces. With the LD-Control App, you can mark these as vacant or infrequently used and register activities.

How to Create a Vacancy Room in the App

  1. Navigate to the site and select the '+' icon.

  2. Choose ‘Add new vacancy’ or ‘Mark as infrequently used’.
  3. Select the Room (e.g. Room 2.11, guest room, Restaurant 2.3).

  4. Answer some questions about the room.
  5. Register the flushing activity.
  6. Confirm and save.

The asset / room will now be listed as “vacant” in the web environment and the flushing requirement will adjust accordingly. These assets will still appear in the flushing list but will be flagged.

Notes

  • You can always reverse this status by removing the vacancy status in the web environment.

  • Vacant rooms / infrequently used assets will automatically reoccur once it's set. You can disable this in the building dashboard in 'Users & settings' by enabling it won't reoccur once created.
